When he was 16 he applied to the Federal Polytechnic school in Zurich Switzerland
He got accepted in 1896 for his second attempt for the Federal Polytechnic school
In 1905 (26 years old) he published four important scientific papers
1909 he was hired as a professor at the university of Zurich
Moved to Germany then devoted his life to the theories of relationships between mass and energy, characteristics of atoms, and the structure of the universe
During World War 1 he became a pacifist
He was advanced to a permanent position at the Institute for Advance study in Princeton, New Jersey
